First of all, I would like to give a welcome to you as dean of Hoyeon Residence Complex, Korea University, and I am so grateful to you all staying at Hoyeon Residence Complex, Korea University's symbol of pride.

Korea University has been trying to achieve "Global KU (Korea University)" under the vision and slogan of "Best Residence Campus", the new hub of Korea. Suitable for these Campus prospects, Korea University's Hoyeon Residence Complex built the 4th dormitory hall, and is home to about 2700 students from all over Korea and around the world. It provides many kinds of programs, activities, and spaces with global spirits and minds, and is becoming the hub of the world. Thus, I am so proud of the Hoyeon Residence Complex.

he Hoyeon Residence Complex will do its best to provide the best and most comfortable residence conditions and environment, and the high-quality and good food to make all residents at Hoyeon Residence Complex concentrate on their potentials as scholars and individuals. However, I think that because Hoyeon Residence Complex is home to all residents, it is also important for all residents to take each other into thoughtful consideration and have good communication. I would like to quote a passage "三蝨食體" from a famous Chinese philosopher, Han-Bi-Ja (韓非子), that during the dormitory life all residents have more macroscopic prospects, more communications, and more concessions with each other for your future visions and dreams.

I really hope that all things you will have done and learned at Hoyeon Residence Complex can be your great experience and power. All faculty and staff at Hoyeon Residence Complex will do their best to help you achieve your academic potential.

I sincerely hope that you can share in all of Korea University's visions and prospects, and achieve your dreams and goals in terms of joining and participating in all programs and activities positively.
